Demon or angel, I know not which,
As softly, I lay within your arms.
Passion or pain, I care not which,
As you keep me safe from harm.
Suspended in earthly time,
Within this ectasy we share,
Magic's secrets are all mine,
If my mind does so dare.
Into your mind I am drawn,
Into my dark eyes you fall,
Into my body you are drawn,
Into the ancient's night's call.
Candles flickering in the night,
Heaven and earth become one,
Stars the black night light,
Circles cast, pentagram drawn.
Call the four elements to me,
Bring the last one: your spirit,
Secrets all are there to see.
Tell me lover, can you hear it?
My soul rises in your ancient wings,
My spirit flies through the void.
Reveling in the knowledge you bring,
The forbidden fruit of magic binds.
Exhausted in a single, molten second,
My mind is black as white snow.
Our senses now are sharpely honed,
For now we can taste what I know.
Confusion rises in your eyes,
You realize what I've taken,
All the fear within you arises,
But I cannot be forsaken.
Knowledge is the gift you gave.
Pleasure is my forbidden present,
The thing you'll continue to crave.
None of this to be was ever meant.
In knowledge is power borne.
Fear not what I now know,
And though it's you they scorn,
Before no man, shall I bow.
Wrap your wings around me, dear angel demon,
Let me fall into their wicked whiteness.
This cruel fate I shall never bemoan.
By desiring your spirit I am not less.
The ambrosia of your love I've tasted,
I've been borne within the heat of your passion,
Within our minds so enjoined I've lusted,
The reason of this we must never question.
For somewhere within the lines of fate,
There lies a rhyme and a reason.
Others learn this much too late,
To everything there is a season.
No god directs our every move,
But rules within the universe exist.
Your velvet wings doth me sooth,
When first my lips were kissed.
Merging into my soul you came,
And no matter what they say,
There is no one really to blame,
But ourselves for the sin of today.
