Everyone has books on minerals and we even have some for sale. The best is Melody's Love is in the Earth a Kaleidoscope of Crystals ($18.95). I've even put a basic explanation of what a mineral is tuned to in the descriptions and a Romance Card comes with almost every mineral or crystal.
BUT...you can't just get it home, drop it on the table and expect results. Granted, you may get a little result but if you don't work with your mineral or crystal, little will happen. Out of all those books, there are few on what to do so here is a short form guide.
Handle your crystal frequently concentrating on what it is supposed to do for you. In all the books you will find a variety of things a stone is good for. Pick one at a time and concentrate on! The crystal or mineral acts like an amplifier. If you aren't sending, not much gets out. Instead of veiwing your mineral or crystals as being good for this or that, see it as being tuned to this or that.
For example:
You carry a rose quartz to attract love. You have to have love in your heart for the rose quartz to amplify and then those of like vibration are drawn to you. Be specific with your stone. Putting it under an errant boyfriend's pillow without some preparation will only draw a comment about lumpy bed linens.
You buy a crystal to meditate with. Staring at it isn't going to do anything but produce eye strain. You need to put it on your third eye, taping it there is a good idea, and then meditate. If you don't know how to meditate, it can suddenly jump up and tell how to do it.
You get an amethyst to help with addictions. Whenever you have the craving, you need to take that mineral out and concentrate on the craving going away. You need to concentrate at least once a day on the mineral absorbing your craving.
Here at the Cosmic Salamander, I try to match the right stone in the bin to the person ordering it. Remember, I have pounds of stones. If you will get a nice piece of new paper out and sign it, it makes it a little easier for me to pick the right stone. Otherwise I tend to use your check or order paper for better or worse. I also try to send a little message preprogramed on the mineral or crystal that it is to help you.
That order form isn't mandatory! You can send your order in on anything with as many notes as you need to get the job done. One little note: If you keep losing a crystal or mineral, either it isn't tuned to you or you have contacted (sometimes a stranger by accident), someone that needs that mineral or crystal more than you and it has placed itself where they can find it. All things happen for a reason. If we knew all the reasons, it would be pretty darned boring!
