Full Moon Ritual for Balance

If you are doing this ritual in December of 1998: it should be done at 10:20 AM EST.

You will need a single purple candle and your astral candle, some Sage for smudging and some clary sage oil if you can find it if not sandalwood will do in a pinch.

Try to still your mind while sitting facing your altar. Your astral candle should be on the left and the purple candle on the right. Light your astral candle saying:

"This is me!"

Light your purple candle saying:

"This is the Universal Energy of Balance and Harmony!"

Light the Sage and begin smudging the altar and yourself. This is a process of having the smoke all around you and everything on the altar. Say:

"Spirit of Sage oh so wise,

Make me oh so wise.

Bring me balance and harmony,

Bring my world balance and harmony!"

Keep repeating that chant until you feel calm and then annoint yourself with the Clarey Sage Oil or some Sandalwood Oil if you can't get it. Say:

"Spirit of the Oil surround me!

With balance, harmony and peace.

Where ever I should wander and go,

I beseech thee to follow!"

Stay at your altar until the Sage burns out and then clap the candle out thanking the spirits for their help.
